Bossier Jamboree Cancelled By Rain But Highlighted With Appearance of Rodney Guin

Friday night's Bossier Lions Club Jamboree was hit with a torrential down pour at the half time of Haughton and Parkway, with Parkway leading 7-0.  

Mother Nature reared her head and cleared Airline High School Stadium as quickly as a packed stadium could stampede through the only two open gates.

The lightning and heavy rains ended the ongoing game and cancelled the Airline/Benton game as well.

But, the night wasn't a total loss as high school football fans were treated to the re-appearance of Haughton High School Football Coach Rodney Guin on the sidelines.

Coach Guin's life threatening heart attack earlier this year nearly ended his coaching career.
