About 3 years ago, Donette Muse was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  After an 8 month bout of chemo all her doctors said that she'd won her battle with the Big C. However, a few months back at one of Donette's routine check ups the doctors detected a higher than usual CA-125 count (what Doctors use to help detect active Cancer cells) and informed Donette the cancer had returned.

Because the chemo was obviously unsuccessful in her first attempts, Donnette is trying a new form of treatment.  It's a whole natural diet "cure".  Of course there are complications with this attack as well.

First off, insurance is sketchy at best for this form of treatment, especially for people with a history of cancer and secondly, the "cure" is really expensive.

This is where we're hoping you can help this incredible lady.  Different organizations are lending helping hands with various forms of fundraising and one of those organizations is Vitamins Plus.

This Saturday, April 27, Vitamins Plus is holding a bake sale with all proceeds going toward Donette's treatment.  So, if you're looking for some great baked goods; cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, and much more, and you'd like to help one of our own in her time of need, stop by Vitamins Plus at 5819 East Kings Highway between 11am and 6pm and feel free to buy all you need!  Get enough for your Sunday School class or grab some treats for your kids' teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Just help them sell out and help Donette join the "Cancer Survivor Club."
