Breaking news from KSLA: there is a gas leak in the Green Terrace area near Walker Road and Dean Road. The leak is believed to have been caused by a car hitting a gas meter overnight.

According to KSLA–Shreveport firefighters are on the scene of a gas leak in south Shreveport. CenterPoint Energy has been called to shut off the gas in the 3100 block of Green Terrace near Walker Rd. and Dean Rd.
The leak was first reported around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday but it’s believed that a car hit the gas meter sometime overnight. According to Chief Fred Sanders the car is no longer on the scene but there is evidence that a vehicle hit the meter and drove off. No injuries were reported.
