Former local baseball stand out and professional player, Danny Huffstickler, fought a courageous bout with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) but was taken far too soon, losing his battle on February 12, 2013.  And it's in his honor that his friends and family hold an annual co-ed softball tournament to raise awareness of this horrible disease and to provide some financial assistance to local patients suffering from ALS.

Start gathering your team and get ready to play in the 4th Annual Tuff Huff co-ed softball tournament at Southern Hlls Park on June 7 and 8.

Entry is $150 per team and teams must be comprised of 5 men and 5 women.  Entry fees must be paid by May 24, 2014.

Tournament organizers will also hold a raffle, a silent auction and will sell t-shirts, snow cones, great food and wrist bands with all funds going to "Strike Out ALS."
