Worst National Anthem Performances [VIDEO]

We've all heard it--at least once.  Have you ever been listening to our beautiful national anthem when suddenly the performer tries to church it up and get all fancy--that is usually the moment when things go wrong. Now, I have heard that our national anthem is one of the most difficult songs to perform, requiring a nearly impossible range--but, once you hear Martina McBride belt it out seamlessly--it is hard to give sympathy to some of these folks that should have never accepted the challenge.

Some of these poor folks meant well, for them all I have to say is "bless your heart". But, in case you have forgotten Roseanne's recent National Anthem chaotic mess--this video will remind you as it did me and I honestly find her version of our anthem slightly offensive. I guess it is her expression that seems to allude to her not caring that she is ruining our anthem. It is one thing to try to perform well and end up sounding bad and a completely other situation when you appear to be purposefully mocking a very important song.

Notice that no Country artists made this video collection of National Anthem outcasts.
