As they say in "Game of Thrones", we need to prepare because "Winter is coming" and apparently someone ticked off mother nature because According to the Farmers' Almanac, winter is coming with a vengeance. The Farmers’ Almanac just released their predictions for our 2020-2021 season and much of the country will experience an unpleasant January and February.

Peter Geiger who is the editor of the state said .“Based on our time-tested weather formula, the forecast for the upcoming winter looks a lot different from last year, quite divided with some very intense cold snaps and snowfall,” What does the great divide actually look like? Anticipate our friends up north coming to visit more often.

The Farmers’ Almanac predicts that the folks who live in the northern half of the country should prepare for a blistering cold and snowy winter. While many of us in the south need to prepare to whisper "WTF" under our breathe because the weather plans to change more often than your wife before a date night.

What did the Farmer's Almanac specifically predict for us? Did anyone have us down for Mother Nature menopause in January? According to their latest "In New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma east into Arkansas, and Louisiana, Mother Nature will mix intervals of tranquil weather with occasional shots of cold and wintry precipitation but overall may seem to be a bit 'temperamental.'"
