The incident happened at Westfield High School in Spring, Texas at the school’s 9th Grade Center. Witnesses say she was attempting to break up a fight between a group of students when they suddenly focused their aggression to the Assistant Principal. They knocked her down to the ground, began kicking her, and pulling her hair.

A teacher who didn't want to be identified for fear of fear of retaliation from Spring Independent School District, told KPRC:

It broke my heart. It makes me want to cry. She loves those kids. She is the nicest person. She’s the best administrator that we have at Westfield High School.
