Vicky Sepulvado Is This Week's Caught in the Act Recipient

Her niece, Brandi Sharkey wrote to tell us about Vicky and you could just feel the love for Vicky oozing out of every word of her nomination letter.

That letter is what made it so easy to name Vicky this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Vicky is my aunt. She has many nieces, nephews and grandchildren! And I bet she could tell you all of their birthdays and what their favorite things are. She is the most thoughtful and caring person I know. Always doing for others and including everyone. She is truly the glue that holds our family together and makes sure everyone gets together for holidays and celebrations. When it’s thanksgiving she bakes and cooks the most food and makes it feel so special. She loves her family big time! And we love her! She goes way out of her way for everyone and takes care of everyone in the most loving and selfless ways. Just recently she underwent heart surgery and has had to be dependent on others for help which is not easy for her. Right before her surgery her husband had a stroke. It was devastating. He has been ill and suffering from a debilitating disease for a while now and she is his main care taker everyday. Even through all the things that have happened she still smiles and makes sure others are ok, never putting herself first. The day she got out of HER heart surgery, SHE called everyone individually to let them know she was ok and that surgery went well so we wouldn’t worry. Who does that?! She should have been resting but wanted to make sure we weren’t worrying about her first. There is so much more she has done for her family - the list and stories are endless. She is someone I know I can always count on and I want her to know it’s ok to let others take care of her and do nice things for her. She deserves it and so much more! She is the definition of kindness! Her birthday was on April 20th and I hope even though she is having to take it easy that she knows how much she is loved. And I want to say thank you for all that you do for us! We love you so so much!
