When it comes to your favorite radio or television programming, most everyone's number one complaint is "the commercials." Yet, it's those commercials that actually pay for the programming we're seeing or hearing. But there's another facet of those commercials that people don't really consider. Those commercials are also informative, funny, compelling, and occasionally, are as much a part of the programming as the program itself.

Take the Super Bowl for example. It's been known for years just how important those commercials from Budweiser, Coke, Pepsi, McDonald's and Doritos are. More often than not, they're way more important than the game itself. Television networks charge millions, in some cases, for those well placed thirty second ads. Yet, they're an integral part of the game. Can you imagine a "Commercial Free" Super Bowl? BORING!

Another facet of the advertising game that a lot of people never consider is the fact that IT WORKS. Well crafted commercials for advertisers with well thought out plans weave their way into the very fibers of our brains and become an unforgettable memory. And once in a blue moon, the slogan lasts even longer than the actual product itself. I'll give you a perfect example. "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat." If it took you longer than a second to remember that was ABC's Wide World of Sports, then you might be a little young to get the point.
