The Saints’ Drew Brees Makes Appearance at Local Church Sunday, April 23, 2017

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be in Bossier City this Sunday to make an appearance at a local church.

I'll admit, I've been bad about getting myself to church for a while now, even though my husband and I are partners at the Simple Church. Imagine my surprise when I opened my email to find out that Drew Brees will be at the the Simple Church's 10:30am service this Sunday which is being held at the CenturyLink Center for the special occasion. Let's face it, usually Easter is the 'Super Bowl' of the year when it comes to church attendance, but this Sunday could run a close second! But the Simple Church isn't stopping there! This Sunday will also feature special musical guests P.O.D! P.O.D. are probably best known for their hits Youth of the Nation and Alive. I've included videos below.

Doors will open this Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the CenturyLink Center at 9:30am and children are welcome with their parents, however, child care will not be provided. Attendees will be able to make a donation to receive a special pom pom for use during special parts of the service. What a great way to commemorate an amazing day of worship! You'll also get information on how you can win a Drew Brees autographed item when you make your donation.
