We have heard so many of our favorite country artists cover some of our favorite traditional Christmas songs. When is the last time you listened to a Christmas Country album and loved an original? When Kacey Musgraves released "A Very Kacey Christmas" my mind was blown! I loved the song "Present Without a Bow" she brought in Leon Bridges and the Texas natives nailed it. It has become one of my favorite Christmas songs. Leon Bridges adds a bluesy touch and the accordion makes me think of Buck Owens and the Bakersfield sound. All in all it is an amazing song! Listen to it here:

I also listened to Brett Eldredge's album "Glow" and was amazed at how much I loved Christmas music all of a sudden. First off, who knew that Brett Eldredge could give Michael Buble a run for his money? "Glow" isn't just the name to the album, it's an original that Eldredge co-wrote with a friend and highlights the good feeling of watching your other half glow during the holidays. Yeah it's a feel good romantic tune, with a Frank Sinatra type feel. You'll love it.
