Taylor Washington Is Latest Caught in the Act Recipient
Taylor Washington is obviously very good at her job, but the reason we celebrate her is because of the way she's taken her profession to the next level and made it personal.

We learned of Taylor's compassion, kindness and dedication to others in her amazing nomination letter from Maegan Adams.
Maegan feels she owes her life to Taylor and once you've read the letter she submitted, you're likely to feel the same way!
And it's Taylor's love for others that we celebrate this week as we name her the latest recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
I want to tell you about Taylor Washington and her compassion, dedication, and selflessness which go far beyond the scope of her job. For the past three years, Taylor, who is Dr. James Barnes’ Medical Assistant/Nurse, has been a constant source of support during the most critical and frightening period of my life. I was extremely ill at a couple of points. I almost died and she played a major role in saving my life. Her care was not limited to office hours or routine duties. She has been there for me at any hour of the day, consistently showing up with patience, advocacy, and genuine concern. Taylor takes on burdens that many patients struggle with, but few providers volunteer to carry. She makes the difficult and exhausting phone calls to medical supply companies that I often cannot bring myself to make. She painstakingly organizes and submits my complicated orders to multiple supply companies and pharmacies, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. These are tasks she is not required to do, but she does them anyway, because she truly cares. Her kindness is not performative or convenient; it is steady, intentional, and lifesaving. Alongside Dr. Barnes, she has gone above and beyond medical obligation and stepped fully into advocacy and humanity. Because of Taylor’s commitment, attention to detail, and relentless follow-through, I am here today. Taylor’s actions have had a profound impact on my life, and I am endlessly grateful for the care, dignity, and compassion she continues to give…not just to me, but to every patient fortunate enough to be in her care.
Taylor Washington, because you've been 'Caught in the Act', John and the gang at the Magnolia Pit have a $50 gift certificate for you to come enjoy a great meal!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Taylor to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
