Dozens of people showed up at Shreveport Regional to welcome home Shreveporter Willie "Trey" Jones when he returned from Los Angeles.

Weeks after wowing "X Factor" judges with a unique look and sound, Shreveport native Willie Jones has been eliminated. The 18-year-old Jones was disappointed, but put on a brave face, saying, " sucks that I have to go home, but it was really fun to be here."

Shreveport sensation Willie Jones has earned a spot in the Final 16 on "The X Factor." Jones' coach Demi Lovato told the singer that he was "completely unique" -- as if that was ever in question.

There’s raging speculation over which artists will fill the two vacant mentor positions on the ‘X Factor‘ panel. Heavyweight pop divas like Mariah Carey and Beyonce have seen their names tossed into the ring. Another emerging contender for one of the coveted slots?
