Strong storms caused straight-line winds and possible tornadoes across the region Easter Sunday. More than 20,000 SWEPCO customers were left without power.

A home in the Haven Subdivision in Southeast Shreveport is damaged by a fire. Investigators believe lightning sparked the fire at the home on Hallette Drive.

It's just after 12:00 pm Tuesday and though AEP Swepco has successfully restored power to around 10,000 customers affected by yesterday's storms, just over 33,000 customers are still without electricity.
