Law suit

A Michigan woman probably didn't expect the "new car smell" when she bought her "used" car, but she certainly wasn't in for the smell of a dead body either!  In a lawsuit filed in Oakland County Circuit Court, Margarita Salais of New Baltimore alleges the dealership’s staff sold her a 2006 Ford Expedition last March without telling her that it once held a dead body.

It's never been done before, but you had to know the day was coming.  A transgender public employee in Oregon has sued the state because their insurance provider denied his claim for a hysterectomy in his efforts to make the transition to becoming a man.

I'm convinced that people are so "sue happy" that they'll look for the bucks in nearly everything.  Check out this story about a lady in New Jersey.  She says a New York City television station caused her thousands of dollars in emotional damage when it broadcast the wrong lottery numbers.
