A Shreveport Police Department jailer and another officer are on paid leave, accused of violating department policy.

Yesterday, it was the story of a police officer getting arrested for DWI immediately after his DWI Class.  Thank goodness that one was all the way up in New Jersey, so we have plausible deniability for any lack of intelligence here in our neck of the woods....but today, that all gets erased as another drunk hits the slammer in West Monroe.

Every now and then you read a story that just makes you chuckle at somebody's stupidity.  According to UPI.com, a Midland Park, N.J., police officer was arrested for drunken driving after consuming alcohol during a state police class on DWI arrests.
