Suspect Sought in Shreveport Hotel Hold-up

Shreveport police are searching for the man responsible for the armed robbery of a local hotel this morning.

Just after 7:30 a.m., police were called to the Wyndham Gardens Hotel in the 1400 block of East 70th Street. They learned a man armed with a small-caliber handgun entered the front lobby and demanded money from employees working behind the counter. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nobody was injured during the hold-up. The suspect fled on foot, running west from the business. Footage of the robbery was caught on surveillance video.
