I don't remember how old I was, but I remember we were in a Burger King bathroom. Me and my mom were making a pit stop and must have been on the road somewhere on the many trips we took, probably for something I was playing my cello.

There was a blues song playing. "My babe don't stand no cheatin...my babe"

It was so catchy and we just started singing along. Mom sang all the way to the sink. She was just really into it, snapping her fingers, shaking her head, dancing and singing along. I was laughing because... well, my MOM was jamming.

About that time, someone opens the door and sees both of us dancing, singing and laughing uncontrollably. They had a look of shock... stood there a moment and slowly backed out.

It was so funny that ALL these years later, we STILL sing the song and laugh about it. I don't know why I never thought about using the internet to find the song, but my boyfriend found it and it's been recorded by LOTS of people, including Elvis. Who would have thought a trip to a Burger King bathroom would be a happy memory 20 years later? :) This is for my momma....and the BEST part  is the singer is from our area! Little Walker - My Babe.
