Shreveport Police Arrest Man on Domestic Violence Strangulation

On March 16th, 2023, around 8:45 a.m. Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted about a report of a domestic incident at the Cajun Inn, located in the 2600 block of Claiborne Avenue.  The caller told dispatchers that there was domestic abuse at this location with two children (a 10-year-old and an 8-year-old) present.

On arrival, officers contacted Phibulus Carhee (7-6-1974) and discovered that he had attempted to strangle one of the victims.  After responding officers conducted their investigation Carhee was arrested for one count of domestic abuse battery with strangulation, and one count of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
