Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Threatening with a Firearm

On May 25th, 2023, at 4:05 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call of an armed person at Line Avenue and Robin Hood Street. Responding officers were informed of an armed gunman knocking on a door at this location while making threats. Further investigation revealed that a male identified as Frankie Johnson (8-11-96) reportedly threatened the victim with a handgun.

When the victim did not exit the residence, Johnson struck the victim’s vehicle’s windshield with a hammer. Officers arrived and took Johnson into custody.

Johnson was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm, one count of property damage, one count of theft, and one count of possession of schedule one. He was also arrested for outstanding traffic warrants.

We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
