A Shreveport lawyer turned himself last week after warrants for his arrest were issued, charging him with theft.

January 28th, Attorney Zachary Moffett was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center. He was booked and released within the same day. Moffett was at the center of two Caddo investigations for theft, and warrants were issued once investigators found enough evidence for charges.

According the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, the victims reportedly retained Moffett's services but he never performed any of the work for them. The Sheriff's Office claims that one victim paid $1,500 to Moffett, and the other paid $2,500.In either case, Moffett never filed any paperwork whatsoever, and then cut off all communication with both victims.
