Shreveport Farmer's Market In New Location For This Weekend

Though the move is only temporary, those who love to frequent the Shreveport Farmer's Market are in for a surprise this Saturday if they head to the market's normal location at Festival Plaza.

Unless you're totally oblivious to all the fuss that's been made of the "Humor and Harmony Festival" this Thursday through Sunday, you're well aware that Festival Plaza will be totally unavailable for this Saturday's event.

With that in mind, organizers of the Shreveport Farmer's Market have announced that, "for this Saturday, August 10 ONLY", the market will be held from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm at Riverview Hall, 600 Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport.

It's National Farmers' Market Week and the Shreveport Farmer's Market is planning to celebrate with all your favorite local produce, artisanal goods, handmade products, and delicious prepared food.

Organizers want to remind you that parking may be limited, but guests can utilize the SporTran shuttles. We also encourage carpooling, biking, or walking, if possible.

They also want you to know that the Shreveport Farmers’ Market will return to its original location in Festival Plaza on Saturday, August 17.
