The holiday spirit is fully upon us in Shreveport and Bossier City. Thankfully, there are plenty of churches in the area where you can celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Here are a few of the church services offered in Shreveport and Bossier City to help meet your worship needs this holiday season.

As we have frantically visited the stores for those last minute purchases and fussed at the Christmas lights we have hung upon the rooftops or the trees we have put up inside our homes, we tend to become a little overwhelmed by the shopping aspect of the holiday.

We curse the flocks of people that have gotten in our way fighting for the items left on the shelves, and complain about the lack of checkers in the lines of the stores. It's true -- we have all done and said a few things we shouldn't have in haste this season, and we find ourselves in need of worship to cleanse our hearts and minds.

So now we must restore ourselves to being civilized Christians and remember 'The Reason for the Season.'
