Scott Muscutt Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient
If you have been to a Mudbugs hockey game any time in the past 30 years or so, you probably saw Scott Muscutt.
Scott, "Musky", was a player, turned coach, turned General Manager, of the Shreveport Mudbugs and has been with the team for so many years, his name is synonymous with the organization. Honestly, you can't think of the Mudbugs and not think of Musky.
And his dedication to that organization, today's youth, and to the community are exactly why he is being recognized as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
Just read his nomination letter submitted by Chelsea Rogers and you'll understand why this was such an easy choice for this week's award.
Many of us grew up watching Musky and The Mudbugs play, and it was something we looked forward to almost every weekend! It was a sad time when there were no hockey games, but then Tommy Scott and Musky brought The Mudbugs back!! If you have been to a game lately then you know how fun they are and obviously how much work has to be done behind the scenes to make that happen, and Musky is a HUGE part of it all. But even when The Mudbugs aren’t playing Musky is still at the rink doing things to make sure it’s an enjoyable experience for whoever steps foot in George’s Pond. Thank you Musky for bringing hockey back and giving the community something fun and positive to bring our kids to on the weekends. If you haven’t been to a Mudbugs game WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!
Scott Muscutt, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Scott to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
