School and Business Closings, Cancellations and Postponements [UPDATE]

The icy conditions continue in the Arklatex and there have been some closings, cancellations and postponements due to these conditions.  Obviously this listing will continue to be updated if further additions are needed but here's where we stand at this time:

• Bossier Parish Community College cancelling all evening classes today

• Panola College’s Marshall & Center Campuses will be closed tonight due to current weather conditions. Check Panola website, www.panola.edu, for info concerning Wednesday classes and start times.

• Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) Fall Men’s Basketball League Championship games scheduled for tonight have been re-scheduled for next Tuesday
• Webster Parish public schools will be closed tomorrow
• Regions Bank closing all of its branches in Shreveport/Bossier, Webster, and Claiborne parishes at 4:00
• Shreve Memorial Library and all its branches closing at 4:30
• Caddo Parish schools have cancelled all afterschool activities for this afternoon.  The school board meeting will go on at 4:30 but the student/staff recognition portion will be moved to the February meeting
• Northwestern State University cancelling evening classes on its Natchitoches campus beginning at 5:00 today.  All other NSU campuses will hold classes as scheduled this evening and classes will resume tomorrow
• Texas State Technical College in Marshall, TX, dismissing at 3:30 this afternoon and will re-open at 9:30 tomorrow
• All Louisiana Tech University campuses will close at 4:00 today and remain closed tomorrow.  They will re-open at 8:00 Thursday morning
