From Kaplan, Louisiana, it's none other than Sammy Kershaw!  The fast-paced, high energy country entertainer will hit the stage at the Mudbug Madness Festival at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport on Saturday, May 27 at 9:30 pm!

Kershaw's list of beloved hits includes the world renown, "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" along with "Cadillac Style", "National Working Woman's Holiday" and the fan favorite "Queen Of My Double-Wide Trailer."

While his music career is storied, some might not remember that Kershaw actually ran for political office in Louisiana.  Twice he unsuccessfully ran, as a Republican, for the office of Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana in 2007 and 2010.

Some might also have forgotten that from 2001 to 2007, Kershaw was married to another country entertainer, Lorrie Morgan.  Of course Morgan was the widow of country superstar Keith Whitley.
