This loving, DeSoto parish couple, has taken their grief and used it to give other grieving Arklatex parents a glimmer of positive hope.

With the creation of Ryder's Roses, the Vosburys use the memory of Ryder to provide a rose flower bed for other parents who have endured a similar loss.

And as the couple continues to raise funds for Ryder's Roses and the "Hope For Lydia Foundation", they're preparing for the annual "Reelin' For Ryder Bass Tournament" out of the Toledo Bend-North State Park Ramp.

This 2-man team tournament will be held Saturday, April 25 and the $200 per boat entry fee will include your entry into the big bass pot.
At the weigh-in beginning at 2:30pm, all competing anglers will enjoy a free meal, and there will be raffles, a silent auction, cash give away, and a bounce house for kids.

The earlier teams enter, the later they'll be required to be in the check-in line at the weigh-in. Teams numbered 1-50 won't have to report in the weigh-in line until 3:30 pm. Teams numbered 51-100 have to report by 3:00 pm and those teams number 101+ will have to report by 2:30 pm.

To pre-register go to reelinforryder.com, or call 318-205-1925 or you can sign up tournament morning, April 25, at North Toledo Bend State Park.

Trailering will be allowed in this tournament, but no guides will be permitted and the use of forward facing sonar will also not be allowed.
