Thursday, November 11th is Veteran's Day. You have heard from so many businesses coming out to say they will hook up Veterans in our community with free meals, and some very deep discounts. We love seeing so many companies serve those who served our country.

One company is giving Oprah a run for her money. For Veterans Day, the mortgage group Veterans United is gifting 11 lucky veterans with a home. Yes, this is 11 individual homes that served their country.

Veterans United Home Loans is a mortgage lender that also holds the title for the nation’s largest Department of Veterans Affairs loans provider. It's safe to say several veterans in our community have used Veterans United Home Loans to get a loan for their homes.

Yesterday the mortgage company announced its donation of 11 homes to 11 lucky U.S. veterans.

Why 11 houses? Veterans United Home Loans decided on 11 homes because of the date that Veterans Day falls on. November 11th, but also all those 11's. 11/11/21.
