Olive, the Dog Child Needs Your Help

I am sure I can't be the only crazy dog parent out there! When I made the move to Kiss Country I had to break it to my dog child Olive that her  roommate Tripp the golden retriever wasn't joining us. He and his mommy who is one of my best friends moved cities too, and not joining us in SBC. Tripp isn't the smartest dog out there, but he loved to share his toys (and carrots) and play with Olive.

I had heard that certain dogs act a tad strange when they are moved and relocated and unfortunately my dog is one of those. She was used to having breakfast with Tripp the golden every morning and now, I am having to "cook" her food. I take her dog food, put it in a pan and make a show as if I am cooking her meal, and set it back down to watch her eat half of her meal. I know it sounds crazy but so far its the only way she will eat.

I am trying my best to make Olive love our new home. Are there any cool dog parks that you frequent? Where are the dog friendly hangouts? Who is the best dog grooming company?
