One major event that really puts the "fun" in fundraiser for Children's Miracle Network is Northwood High School's "Dance for a Chance" put on by the Key Club. This year's event is Friday, March 4 in Northwood's old gymnasium.
It's four hours of dancing and raising money for Children's Miracle Network. This year's theme is Footloose and it's open to the public. Just a $10 door fee will get you in. All proceeds to to Children's Miracle Network.
According to the event's Facebook page, there is supposed to be a surprise guest in attendance. They will be taking pictured in the photo booth with any dancers for a donation to CMN.
Children’s Miracle Network is a national, non-profit organization that helps families on a local level. These are families with chronically or terminally ill children who cannot afford proper healthcare for their children. With Children’s Miracle Network, the families never see a bill and all of the money stays local.
So every dollar raised in Shreveport-Bossier, stays in Shreveport-Bossier. On a local level, that money goes to the 17 programs funded by Children’s Miracle Network at CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier.
So, you ready to get loose?
