The 2016 ACM Awards are one month away, and as always, The Boot is putting together its predictions. Who do you think will win the trophy for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year?

A Thousand Horses' first single "Smoke" set a record for the highest debut by a new act when it debuted at No. 28 on the Country Aircheck charts, and it has since been certified gold by the RIAA. Their first record with Republic Nashville, Southernality, debuted in June.

Brothers Osborne, made up of brothers TJ and John Osborne, have earned three consecutive Top 40 country hits. Recently, "Stay a Little Longer" became their first Top 10 single, peaking at No 2, and their third single, "21 Summer," was just released to radio. They received nods for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2015 CMA Awards and Best Country Duo / Group Performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Maddie & Tae are the only female duo in this category, and they fully deserve to be on the list. Their debut album, Start Here, was released in August and includes the singles "Girl in a Country Song," "Fly" and "Shut Up and Fish." They have one platinum- and one gold-certified single, and in addition to their singing talents, they are also co-writers. Maddie & Tae won Video of the Year at the 2015 CMA Awards and were nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year and New Artist of the Year.

Old Dominion, a five-member country band, have two ACM Awards nominations this year: New Vocal Duo or Group and Vocal Group of the Year. They released Meat and Candy in November, and their hit "Break Up With Him" hit No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart. The album's second single, "Snapback," is at radio now.

This category's final nominee, Parmalee, have seen some success with their 2013 record Feels Like Carolina. The title track was certified gold and the following two singles, "Close Your Eyes" and "Already Callin' You Mine," charted in the Top 20.
