Youth Lacrosse Comes to Shreveport

There is a new sport for you and your children to enjoy through Cabosa--lacrosse! We heard from our friend Michael Pabst this morning who wanted to send out a reminder that the deadline for registration is this Wednesday.

Youth Summer Lacrosse League

"CABOSA will be partnering with Lacrosse to put on a summer league during the months of June and July. This partnership developed after CABOSA was approached by the local lacrosse people who were anxious to get help in forming and running their summer league. They realized that CABOSA has the best staff (biased opinion) in the region when it comes to managing youth leagues.  It is also quite common for soccer organizations and lacrosse organizations to have ties with each other in many other parts of the US. Both play on the same field dimensions. Since the lacrosse season and soccer seasons do not conflict with each other we were able to take on the job of managing the league without impacting our attention to soccer.  This is not a merger of organizations but a partnership relationship. And with a partnership in addition to the sharing of resources there are also many great funding opportunities that can be sought to benefit both groups."
