NBC Omits “Under God” From Pledge

Poor Rory McIlroy, he had an impressive performance during Sunday's U.S. Open in Maryland--But, Rory's performance is being overshadowed by NBC's decision to omit "Under God" from pledge during the patriotic montage the network aired during the coverage of the tournament. Watch the video here and tell me what you think about NBC's decision. The network has already issued a public apology for the decision to omit "Under God" from the broadcast.

Immediately following the broadcast the public took to social media to voice their opinions regarding the omission of "under God" on NBC's facebook page. When scrolling down NBC's facebook page you will see that visitors have posted the pledge throughout the networks page.

How do you feel about the omission? At the time I am writing this blog 74% of people polled by NY Daily News agree that "it was the right thing to do, since there should be a true separation of church and state!"
