Ms. Kaisha Betties – Recipient of This Week’s Caught in the Act Award

Here at Kiss Country, Bristol and I have been blessed over the past year to meet over 50 of the most awesome, giving, selfless people. And this week, we've added another name to that list.

Ms. Kaisha Betties is a Godly woman and her whole life is proof that she puts everyone's needs before her own. Just see the nomination letter we received from her morning esthetics class at Blue Cliff.

Ms. B is my beautiful esthetics instructor at Blue Cliff College. She focuses all of her energy on each and every single one of her students and always seems to stay positive during her personal and difficult times. She is a Godly woman that knows the enemy, Satan will try to bring you down when you are up on top. With that being said, on January 25, 2017 she received a phone call that her brother had just had a heart attack. She thought about leaving at that moment, but she said she needed to stay at school for all of her "children". My instructor has also been dealing with other members in her family being unwell and some not improving much at all. Ms. B made the ultimate decision to stay, just for us. Shortly after all this took place, she received another call where she learned that her brother did not make it. Of course at that moment, she broke down and left for the day. What I don't think she knows, is that once everyone in the class realized what happened we took each others hands and prayed for her and her family. She has always been a blessing to everyone she has come in contact with and shows kindness and compassion wherever she may go. She wants each and every individual to succeed in life no matter what they do. I believe Ms. B has sacrificed so much during her time at Blue Cliff and that most of the times it goes unnoticed. We all love her and believe that she deserves something extremely good to happen to her during a time of hardship. Please recognize my amazing instructor as your caught in the act recipient and show her, like I know she already knows, that God is so good.

 

Ms. Kaisha Betties, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!
