Melissa Mitchell doesn't really even know Kendal Riggs, but that didn't stop Kendal from writing us an incredible nomination letter about Melissa! See, Melissa's smile and kindness affect not only Kendal,, but everyone who's fortunate enough to show up in her drive thru line at the Sonic in the Blanchard area.

Melissa is another example of how many people we can touch with just the simplest act of kindness, and it's Melissa's passion for life and passing it along that have earned her the distinction as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just take a look at the letter we got from Kendal:

I would like to nominate Melissa Mitchell for the caught in the act award. I do not personally know Ms. Melissa but she works at the Sonic in Blanchard & everyone that visits that Sonic knows who she is. She is the most positive person. She asks for your order with the most angelic tone. When you receive your order she is quick to greet you with a beautiful smile and a “have a blessed day.” She doesn’t know how she impacts me every time I visit her in that drive through. Matter of fact she has no clue who I am. But Ms. Melissa deserves this award and that’s why I am nominating her. Next time you drive through Blanchard/North Shreveport in the morning time, be sure to stop at Sonic. I promise you it’s worth your time and you will have a wonderful day because of her.
