With all the fanfare over Adrian Peterson signing in New Orleans, a lot of people were overlooking the fact the Saints already have a starting running back. Mark Ingram isn't a bad player either. In fact, last year Ingram ran for over 2,000 yards and had 10 total touchdowns. It was his best pro season yet.

So what is Mark Ingram thinking now that a former NFL MVP is his teammate, and plays the same position? The Louisiana Radio Network has the answer:

"Saints running back Mark Ingram has no issues with the signing of Adrian Peterson to a two-year contract. Ingram says he’s been sharing carries with as many as three other running backs since New Orleans drafted him. Coach Sean Payton told the new Orleans Times-Picayune that A-P’s role will be very clear and defined and he’ll be a good complement to Ingram."
