Confession, I only really go to Jefferson, Texas for the epic barbecue that they serve up at Riverport BBQ. However, there will be an epic party taking up the entire historical town this weekend.

Mardi Gras Upriver in Jefferson, Texas Takes Over Thursday, March 24th Through Saturday, March 26th.

The Krewe of Hebe has been bringing Mardi Gras festivities to Jefferson for 33 years and this year the party will be bigger than ever. With the pandemic killing the festivities last year, they don't plan to stop the fun, not even the rain can kill the buzz of Mardi Gras Upriver.

Vendors of All Kinds Will Be in Jefferson

From some of your favorite boutiques to some of your favorite carnival food vendors, they will all be out there eager to hang out with you. Vendors will set up around 10:00 am both Friday and Saturday and go until sold out.

The Krewe of Hebe Grand Parade Takes Over Downtown Jefferson at 2:00 p.m.

If you want to catch all the beads you may want to make your way to Jefferson before the motorcycle parade.

There Won't be a Short Supply of Live Entertainment

Mardi Gras Upriver will have the Darren Morris Band playing on Saturday, March, 26th at 7:00 p.m.
