This story about two little girls who went missing in Louisiana along with their family's faithful Golden Retriever has a happy ending and it might just be the best thing you read all day!

Monday night, November 28, 2022, two little girls, ages 4 and 7, went missing from their home along with the family dog, Artemis, in St. Tammany Parish. The mother of the two young girls, Mary Bourg, took to social media to enlist the community's help in finding her babies in the Folsom, LA area. Her call for help went out shortly after 5 pm and it wasn't long before people all over were looking for the girls. Tons of volunteers joined first responders in the search, including members of the Cajun Navy, on foot, on ATVs, and even in helicopters. Thankfully, the two little girls and their pup were found safe and uninjured.

This is a prime example of people in Louisiana coming together as a community to help one of their own. And if you don't believe in the power of prayer, check this out!

But the real hero in all of this is the family's Golden Retriever, Artemis, who never left his little girls' side through the entire ordeal. I'm thinking someone needs to give Artemis a big, thick juicy steak!

And just when you think humanity is doomed, you read something like this and your heart swells up so big your chest can't hold it. Thank God this story had a happy ending!
