While Kimberly Register doesn't do any of it for the recognition, it's hard to NOT recognize her commitment to those blessed with her presence.

And while Kimberly admits that she didn't know her husband was paying such close attention to her sacrifice, his letter, filled with love and praise for this incredible woman, is what revealed to us just how deserving she truly is. (She giggled that she was equally impressed with how beautifully her husband, Chris, had written)

Kimberly epitomizes exactly what we look for each week for the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award. It's her heart, her faith, and her willingness to serve, that we honor.

Just read the letter from Chris Register and you'll see how easy this selection was for us.

I’d like to tell you about my wife, Kimberly Register. Not only does she run her own business and keep our family running smoothly through the everyday chaos of life, but she somehow still finds the time and energy to pour her heart into helping others—most notably through her work at our local food bank. Kimberly has always had a heart for volunteering and giving back, but about a year ago, she recognized a growing need at our local food bank, God’s Food Pantry. Without hesitation, she jumped in headfirst, devoting countless hours—on top of her already full schedule—not only to serve but to expand their impact in the community. In the past year alone, the food bank has handled 1,705 cases, serving more than 328 households—equating to over 213,000 pounds of food distributed. That’s more than 100 tons of groceries directly supporting families in need, right here in our small community. Kimberly holds the title of Community Outreach Liaison, but her contributions go far beyond any job description. She makes multiple trips each week to pick up supplies, organizes donation drives, sends out letters, applies for grants, and regularly partners with local businesses and churches to keep the pantry growing. Under her leadership and vision, she and the team are working toward expanding the facility to meet the rising demand for food assistance. Whether she’s feeding stray animals, holding our family together, or helping to feed hundreds of neighbors in need, Kimberly consistently puts others first. She truly embodies the spirit of selflessness, and I couldn’t be more proud of the way she lives her life in service to others, this is why I believe she deserves your Caught in the Act award.

Kimberly Register, because you've been 'Caught in the Act', John and the gang at the Magnolia Pit have a $50 gift certificate for you to come enjoy a great meal!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Kimberly to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
