Lane Howard Is This Week’s Caught in the Act Recipient

It's not often that it happens, but when it does, it's a very special moment for Bristol and me.

Today was one of those occasions when the person selected as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award, is one of our dear friends.

While some might laughingly consider that being our friend would be a strike against him, those who know Lane Howard are probably wondering just why it took so long for him to be recognized for this auspicious award.

See, Lane is a guy who simply doesn't know how to say "no" to anyone or any cause, and his willingness to put everyone's needs ahead of his own is why we're celebrating him this week.

But, it's the fact that it was his own children, Brooke and Blake, who nominated him, and that makes this one even more special. Just to know that his kids have placed him on a pedestal, and have the respect for him that they do, has got to be the greatest gift that any man could ever receive.

If you know our Dad, Lane Howard, it’s no secret how amazing and special he truly is.
From being an amazing father, to being a TRUE/LOYAL friend, it doesn't go unnoticed how special dad is. He is always there to help with anything. Whether it be non-profit organizations such as Dream Hunt Foundation, Holy Angels, or Delta Waterfowl, you can bet, Dad will be there with a smile on his face! Dad always goes above and beyond to make sure those around him are taken care of. It doesn't matter what someone needs, dad will try his hardest to make it happen and takes zero credit. If you know him, you love him. I believe Dad deserves to know how much he truly means to this community and how amazing of a person he is. We love you dad, you are our "hero", a TRUE FIGHTER, and on behalf of your kids, Blake and Brooke, AND all the people that know you, WE LOVE YOU and THANK YOU for all you've done and continue to do in our community! AND HAPPY LATE 72nd BIRTHDAY!
