La. District 1 High School Football Has More Great Games This Week

With all the heat we've experienced over the past couple of weeks, high school football fans around these parts have shown just how important this sport is as it takes real die-hards to brave the scorching bleachers to enjoy the games, but the gridiron action continues to impress!

And here in Northwest Louisiana, our District 1 teams continue to sharpen their skills as they prepare for the upcoming inter-district play and some will even be featured in this week's Battle on the Border at Independence Stadium.
