
Avoid the Mess: LA 3132 Ramps to I-49 Closing for Maintenance
Drivers who routinely use LA 3132 in Shreveport might want to consider some alternate routes this coming Friday, April 17.

In an alert from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development we learn that on April 17 the outside (right) lane of LA 3132 eastbound between the Linwood Ave. and I-49 interchanges in Shreveport will be closed.
Additionally, the on ramps to I-49 northbound & southbound from LA 3132 eastbound, as well as the Linwood Ave. on ramp to LA 3132 eastbound will be closed.
To allow DOTD crews to perform routine roadway maintenance activities, these lanes and ramps will be required to be closed from approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for this one day only.

Drivers wishing to access LA 3132 or I-49 from these locations will need to utilize an alternate route.
As with any project of this nature, work will be performed "Weather Permitting" and inclement weather could postpone, extend or alter in other ways the scheduled work day/hours.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
