Joy Bunch sews clothes and such for just about everyone in the Haughton area, but it's the kindness she "sows" in the hearts of all who meet her that have caused us to recognize her as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

To have others marvel at your "servant's heart" should be the goal of each and every one of us, and Joy is a great example of where we could set our sights.

Just read Joy's nomination letter that we received from Minton Moore and you'll agree that Joy is certainly deserving of the praise and recognition that goes along with this week's award.

Joy is 100% what her name is! A joy to be around, a joy to know and It’s a joy to be loved by her. She’s known as one of Haughton’s best seamstresses. She can fix anything! Her sewing skills are like no other. Whether it’s altering homecoming dresses, closing holes on old work jeans, helping create cute kids clothes or turning an old wedding dress into something fabulous, her work is all her own! But aside from that, you can find her faithfully serving many areas at church-from doing Wednesday nights crafts with the kids, helping with VBS, supporting people in the baptistery on their big day, or Serving up some of her best cooking in the church kitchen, there really is no one more deserving of this award than her! She has a servants heart with the Lords glow:) her God given talents are all used for others, even all her animals! She’s selfless, funny and just one of th e best people I’ve ever had the privilege of being around! She is long overdue to be acknowledged for ALL she does for everyone else! She deserves a nice meal, one that she didn’t have to prepare❤️ Here’s to joy
