Just about every one of us can testify that our grandmothers are some of God's favorite people, but Trinity Whitmore is convinced that her grandmother is one of the best people on Earth.

She wrote to tell us of Johnette Keck's selfless dedication to all those lucky enough to cross her path and of her tireless efforts to show those people her love when they need it mmost.

And it was that letter from Trinity that made it so easy to name Johnette this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

I'd like to tell you about my grandmother Johnette. She has been such a inspiration. During these hard times she has taught my mother to sew to make mask for people in need. She is a God fearing women that would do anything for anyone. She has taken care of a lot of people and it seems like she never gets the chance to enjoy herself. She has taken care of me, her husband, her dad, her mom, her sons and daughters, her aunts and uncles and many more people along the way. She welcomes anyone into her life with open arms and loves with all her heart. She always said God gives you choices and sometimes he closes a door to open a new one. She always makes sure everyone is taken care of before herself. She has impacted my life in so many ways and I cant help but thank her and God both for her sacrifices. Thank you Nana for being the woman that God made you.

Johnette Keck, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Johnette to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
