On occasion the Good Lord puts someone in your path just when you need them most. This morning he did that very thing when we called John Frank to let him know that he'd been selected as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

The news headlines of late had been weighing heavily on us. The tragedies we've experienced in Afghanistan, the loss of friends due to complications of COVID, the near-daily shootings in Shreveport and the recent huge influx of pedophiles committing crimes on the youth of area, have been dragging us down.

And then along came John Frank. With his love and commitment to law enforcement, the military, God and family, we just couldn't help but get some of his "goodness" on us. What a breath of fresh air, just when we needed it most!

And a big thank you to Zac Polk for recognizing John's healing power when he wrote us this amazing nomination letter:

John Frank is one of the best men I know. John started a Law enforcement motorcycle club that supports all law enforcement and military. If there is a fallen officer, you can bet John and his guys will be working to raise money for the family. He and his guys place flags on military graves as well. John has spent countless hours walking up and down the streets rather it be in Dallas or Shreveport flying his blue line American Flag. He is an amazing friend and one that when he says call him anytime of the night, he means it. He will be there. John also coaches his son in baseball and is an amazing father. He is exactly like the people we need in this world. Standing beside and with military and police. Theres not enough people like John Frank. I love you Brother and I got your 6.

John Frank, thank you for being so amazing! You are a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live! And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to John to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
