The last time a single ticket matched all the numbers needed to claim the top prize in the multi-state lottery game Powerball it was April 19,2023. A ticket sold in Ohio matched the needed numbers to claim the game's top prize in that drawing. Which at that time was just over $252 million dollars.

Last night, July 3, 2023, Powerball players were hoping for a little of last April's luck when the ping pong balls fell in the most recent drawing. Here's the way it unfolded.

The Powerball website confirms the numbers chosen in last night's drawing were:

15   26   31   38   61   Powerball 03  Power Play x3

And just like all of the other previous drawings since April 19th of this year the game did not produce a jackpot winner. The largest prize from last night's game was a $1 million dollar Match 5 prize. That went to a ticket sold in New Jersey.

Our friends at the Texas Lottery are reporting no jackpot or other major wins with this Powerball drawing but according to their website there were some 60,000 plus winning tickets sold in the Lone Star State for the Monday night drawing.

The Louisiana Lottery Corporation is reporting a little bit better news for lottery players in The Boot. An even dozen tickets sold for last night's Powerball drawing are worth a prize of $100 or more. Three of those twelve tickets are worth $300. And one of the dozen winners is a ticket that is worth $50,000.

The Louisiana Lottery's Big Wins page suggests the big money winner sold in Louisiana was purchased in Avondale at T's Food Store. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. The ticket purchaser did not opt-in on the Powerplay option.
