Shreveport Police Arrest Two for Retail Theft With Two Toddlers
Shreveport Police have arrested two individuals following an investigation into multiple retail thefts.
Early last month, a group including Sha’Erial Anderson and Don’Terrion Wilson entered Bath & Body Works on Youree Drive with two toddlers, filled shopping bags with around $1,600 worth of candles, and left without paying.
Investigators learned the group returned two days later and loaded bags with 73 candles valued at approximately $1,700. They abandoned the merchandise near the exit after noticing someone calling Police.
Using surveillance footage, license plate reader technology, and other evidence, detectives identified Anderson and obtained an arrest warrant.
Detectives also linked Anderson to a July theft at Walmart on East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. During that incident, Anderson allegedly gave SPD Officers a false identity and claimed to be a 16 year-old.
Over the weekend, Detectives spotted Anderson and Wilson leaving nearby Kohl’s with two toddlers. Patrol Officers conducted a traffic stop and took both into custody.
Anderson admitted to both Bath & Body Works incidents and stealing approximately $121 in clothing from Kohl’s by hiding them in a diaper bag. Wilson acknowledged being present during one Bath & Body Works incident but denied stealing candles himself.
Anderson faces:
· Two counts of Second-Degree Robbery
· Two counts of Misdemeanor Theft
· One count of Resisting an Officer

Wilson faces:
· One count of Second-Degree Robbery
· One count of Misdemeanor Theft

The investigation remains ongoing.
