“Professional Shoplifter” With Six Prior Felonies Wanted for Target Theft Spree
Shreveport Police are searching for a woman they describe as a career criminal after she allegedly targeted a local retailer multiple times, despite a standing ban from the property. Braie Breyon Allen, 32, is now the subject of an active arrest warrant following a series of brazen thefts at the Target located on Youree Drive.
A Career in Crime: Six Felony Convictions
Detectives with the Property Crimes unit aren't just calling Allen a thief—they have labeled her a "professional shoplifter" due to her extensive and specialized criminal history. According to court records, Allen has six prior felony theft convictions.
Her latest legal troubles come just months after her most recent stint behind bars. Records indicate she was released from custody on September 22, 2025, after serving a two-year sentence following a guilty plea for theft. However, police say the "professional shoplifter" returned to her trade almost immediately upon her release.
Defying a Lifetime Ban from Target
As a direct result of her previous criminal activity, Allen was legally banned from the Target store in the 7000 block of Youree Drive. Despite the court-ordered prohibition, investigators determined that Allen returned to that specific location at least three times between October 2025 and March 2026.

Shreveport Police reports state she filled a cart with merchandise and simply pushed it past all checkout lanes and registers without making any attempt to pay before fleeing the premises.
New Charges and Public Appeal
Given her track record, detectives have obtained a warrant for Allen’s arrest. She is currently facing a new string of charges that reflect her status as a repeat offender:
- Felony Organized Retail Theft
- Entering and Remaining After Being Forbidden (3 Counts)
