It Feels Great to Give!

So you heard how much fun everyone had at the Kiss Country & Louisiana Gold Market Polyester Party this past Friday night. We had this fun thing set up called the Way Back Machine, where folks could pay five bucks and get their pictures taken in their 70's and 80's attire.  What a lot of folks may not have known is that all the money raised from that went to the Bossier Sheriff's Department to be used for Operation Blessing. Yesterday, our fabulous Promotions Director Mary Martin Almond presented a check for $106 for the cause.  While it's not thousands of dollars, it's still a good amount for a great cause.  Thanks to everyone who made it possible!  Here's a statement from Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen:

“We are grateful to have Townsquare Media support Operation Blessing, which provides food to nearly 100 elderly and needy families each week. We are also blessed to partner with the radio stations during the Christmas toy drive, Operation Santa Claus, and it’s the support for these programs that really shows the caring spirit of our community.”
