Detour signage will be in place advising motorists what alternate routes are suggested and as always, the work will be performed weather permitting, so the possibility exists for altered hours or postponed days and hours.

Weather Could Force Some Changes To The Current Schedule

That's an interesting point at this time, as The Weather Channel is predicting, with their 10-day forecast, there could be scattered thunderstorms during some of the work hours Friday and Saturday.  We'll be sure to update you, should this work be postponed due to the possibility of inclement weather.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
